Join us for Next Chapter: College Expo, a dynamic week-long event designed to help students explore various aspects of the higher education journey.

Over three days, participants will learn to navigate the college experience, connect with Verto alumni and direct transfer partners, and discover strategies to thrive as transfer students while building meaningful campus connections.

Tuesday June 25

3PM - 5PM Pacific | 6PM - 8PM Eastern

Choose 2 sessions:

  • College Kickstart: Understanding your New Chapter: Gain tips on navigating higher education, including: semester vs. trimester, how to read a transcript, and preparing to be a college student.
  • Crafting Compelling College Essays: Want to learn how to craft a strong admissions essay that will get noticed? Join Verto and our partner Pace University to hone your writing skills and make your experiences stand out.
  • Career Crossroads: Exploring Alternative Paths: Come explore options outside of the traditional four-year university experience, including community college, military service, and more.
  • Navigating FAFSA: Together, Verto and our partner Lynn University will guide you through the application, how to read your financial aid package, and discuss other types of federal financial aid available.

Wednesday June 26

3PM - 5PM Pacific | 6PM - 8PM Eastern

Choose 2 sessions:

  • Transfer Trailblazers:  Learn from Ithaca College and Butler University how to be a successful transfer student, communicate with your transfer institution and get connected once on campus
  • Clubs: Discover Your Community: Discover how to make the most of your college experience through clubs. Learn how to get involved and find community during your Verto semester and as a transfer student at your next institution. Hear from Verto and our partner Clark University.
  • Building a Life Abroad: Hear from Verto community members and the American University of Rome about their international experiences living and working abroad. They'll share their stories, as well as opportunities abroad in study, work, and volunteering
  • Leveraging Study Abroad for Professional Success: Hear from our partners The College of Wooster and Prescott College about the importance of studying abroad in professional growth. Learn how to highlight your experiences and explore internship and professional development opportunities following your Verto experience.

  • Credit Potential: Maximizing your Transferability: Steps to take onsite to prepare for a smooth credit transfer process
  • Alumni Insights:  Hear from a panel of Verto alumni who successfully completed their Verto experience and made the transition to life on a college campus by attending a Verto University Partner.
  • MyVerto Direct Transfer: Partner College Guaranteed Admission: Explore direct transfer options available to you, and even get a head start on your MyVerto application by completing the Student Profile section.
